Presentations and Events
Five Rivers Environment Educational Center
-We did not host this educational presentation but one of our snakes did take part in the event. Ares Bacon was used to show what a wild colored corn snake looked like compared to a captive bred amelanistic corn that five rivers already had.
.
- It's a step in the right direction for us to get the news out to the public about proper reptile keeping and awareness. Plus it's great for the kids to see and touch the animals they learn about. When a child can touch something living they acquire an appreciation for that animal. That is what we strive for.
-We want to do more reptile programs with children to teach them about snakes, lizards, and amphibians.
If anyone in the New York State area wants us to do a reptile keeping presentation please E-mail or facebook us.

SUNY Cobleskill College Campus Presentation
Again we did not host this presentation however a few of our snakes took part in it. Ares Bacon and Zeus Butters Bacon were present to show the differences in color between a normal wild colored corn and captive bred varieties.
This presentation was about how to keep reptiles as pets. We talked about what enclosures to keep the reptiles in, what and how to feed them, heating requirements, and humidity requirements of each species. We had a powerpoint going over certain species that are most commonly found in the pet trade like corn snakes, rat snakes, king snakes, ball pythons, hognose snakes, and a few turtles. Plus we showed an educational video of our butter corn Zeus feeding on a live mouse.
(Please note that we try to feed all of our snakes frozen mice)
"It was my first time basically managing a project like this. As a co-owner of TribalCorns, and a normal college student, it was a great experience to lead a project and see it come to life in front of you in a classroom. I definitely want TribalCorns to do more presentations to the public." - Terra-Anne Bacon

. Our Show Schedule .
-We don't really have adequate animal stock for getting a table at one of the big expos. So if we do go to an expo it would be as a viewer and buyer only. Perhaps one day if we have enough art and animal stock we might go to some expos and sell our wares.
